Public Benefit
Trustees have given careful consideration to the guidance on public benefit through healthcare and education and are satisfied that all the Trust’s work is carried out for the public benefit. The Strategic Report provides further details of these activities.
New Building
Over the years, the 50-bedded hospital required expansion to 200 beds in order to meet the growing demand for admissions and treatment, as well as MCI requirements for postgraduate teaching. The main building has been expanded into a six-year construction project to accommodate multiple advanced departments and improved healthcare facilities.
The redevelopment includes additional space for departments such as PICU, Haemato-oncology, Nephrology, and new diagnostic facilities. It will also provide outdoor specialty facilities, hostel accommodation for doctors and nurses, and infrastructure that supports nursing education and advanced patient care.
Advances in Diagnostics & Critical Care Management Facility
With the growing awareness of healthcare development, media, and technology, more families seek accurate diagnosis for every disease affecting their child. In the eastern sector, diagnostic support is still less available for many uncommon or rare childhood diseases.
With the installation of advanced diagnostic equipment, ICH aims to provide comprehensive diagnostic facilities for a wide range of diseases including malignancies, genetic disorders, endocrine conditions, autoimmune diseases, and more — all at an affordable cost.
Appeal
For over 60 years, the Institute has followed a path of dedication supported by medical professionals who have wholeheartedly served and treated poor patients with compassion and commitment.
The doctors and the institution have also offered repeated donations and support after seeing the track record. We humbly request your support in helping us build the new construction, continue this noble effort, and carry the mission of child healthcare forward for the next generation.
