Institutional Ethics Committee
The Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) of the Institute of Child Health (ICH) is constituted to ensure that all research involving human participants is conducted in accordance with ethical principles, national regulations, and international guidelines. The Committee safeguards the dignity, rights, safety, and well-being of research participants while promoting high-quality scientific research.
The IEC functions independently and reviews research proposals to ensure scientific validity, ethical acceptability, participant protection, and regulatory compliance.

For Clinical Trials
Reviews clinical trials involving drugs, vaccines, medical devices, biologics and interventional studies.
Institutional Ethics Committee for Biomedical & Health Research – ICH
For Academic Studies
Reviews thesis, dissertations, observational studies, surveys and biomedical research involving human participants.
Institutional Ethics Committee – ICH
This committee reviews clinical trials involving drugs, vaccines, medical devices, biologics and interventional research in accordance with ICMR, GCP and CDSCO guidelines.
